How this auction works+
- Pick any amount you like, down to the cent, and pay the entry fee for it.
- Nobody can see your amount while the auction is running.
- When the clock hits zero, every paid bid is lined up from lowest to highest.
- Any amount two or more people picked is out.
- The lowest amount left, picked by exactly one person, wins.
- If every amount was picked by two or more people, nobody wins yet: the auction is postponed for one hour, and every bid already placed stays in.
- Each bid costs ETB 2, paid from your Telebirr or CBE Birr wallet. Entry fees are not refundable.
- Bids start at ETB 1.00, in steps of ETB 0.01, up to ETB 10,000.00.
- Bidding closes when the clock reaches zero, and the results come one minute later. A bid placed before the close counts if its payment is confirmed within that minute.
- Each person can place up to 15 bids in this auction.
- If no amount was picked by exactly one person, the close moves exactly one hour later. If the auction needs more bids, it moves one week later. Either way, every bid already placed stays in.
